International Conference Center Geneva (CICG):
a prestigious space
The International Conference Center Geneva (CICG), is conveniently located only minutes from the international airport, major highways, the railway station and international sites, close to Lac Leman and the historic Old Town. CICG has been built by FIPOI and was inaugurated in 1973. This prestigious space is destined to host international political, economic and technical conferences at governmental level, as well as private conferences of all kinds. Completely renovated and enlarged between October 2004 and October 2005, with a wider entrance and a new multipurpose space totally flexible and scalable. CICG enjoys a privileged location in the vicinity of the “Place des nations”, around which are based major international organisations and permanent missions in Geneva.
Geneva
the soul city of Europe
The world’s smallest metropolis for some, "Capital of Peace" for others, Geneva has always been hosting distinguished guests from around the world. Better known around the world as the iconic symbol of the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross of which she was the historic birthplace, Geneva each year attracts thousands of people for international conferences, seminars, fora and symposia.
The "smallest of great capital cities", Geneva is a world apart, a world for all. Its unique geographical position rooted in the heart of Europe, its facilities at the cutting edge of progress, its world famous high quality services, prestige and standing as high class international city, coupled with the advantages it offers by its particular geo-urban configuration, make of ancient Geneva a destination of choice and ideal quality for organizing, holding and publicizing international conferences.
